Virtual Business Cards for MCP’s

Microsoft has just launched the long awaited Virtual Business Card program for Microsoft Certified Professionals. Everyone who has an MCP or MCT profile can now create their own virtual business cards.

Microsoft announced in July that the Welcome kits for certification were to be discontinued and promised to create a better way of sharing the transcript of your certification in a easy way.

You can access Virtual Business Cards(VBC) by visiting http://mcpvirtualbusinesscard.com. Use the Live id associated with your MCP to access it . Virtual business cards are the tool that you can use to create, customize, and share your credentials online.

Virtual Business Cards are intended for use on online properties like your email signature, blog, forum signature, etc. You can share it via a simple link, an embeddable javascript card, and in image (PNG) format.

I am an MCTS (Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist) in ASP.NET and hence tried to create and have my own Virtual Business Card.

I got my Virtual Business Cards and You can get get one too from http://mcpvirtualbusinesscard.com
