Microsoft’s I unlock Joy is back

After the success of the first edition of “I unlock Joy” campaign last year, Microsoft has again announced the launch of the 2nd Phase or edition of the “I unlock Joy” campaign.

Last year I had submitted few Windows Phone Apps in the Windows Marketplace and received a brand new Windows Phone (Nokia Lumia 710).

The I unlock Joy campaign is a program where Microsoft provides opportunity for the App developers that includes (Software Professionals and Students) to develop apps and showcase some creativity.

This year, the I unlock Joy program will commence from August 9, 2012 and ends on October 31, 2012.

The participants should build one or more Windows Phone Apps using the Windows Phone developer tools and submit the Apps to the Windows Phone Dev. centre. Once their app get certified and published on the Windows Phone Marketplace during the contest period, they can claim the goodies mentioned as per the contest website.

The 2nd Phase of the I unlock Joy program has 2 Main Categories

1. Developer Competitive Category

  • Top Quality Application Category
  • Early Bird Category

2. Student Competitive Category

  • Top Quality Application Category
  • Early Bird Category
  • E-Certificate
