Windows 8 AppFest and the Developer Song

The Windows 8 AppFest, an 18 hour coding marathon was held in Bangalore on September 21 and had provided some excellent opportunity for the developers to come up with an idea and build great apps with the help of the Microsoft Experts at the venue.

The Microsoft Windows 8 AppFest had infact set a Guinness world record as 2567 App developers for continuous 18 hours on Windows 8.

“The event of this scale was supported by two Gigabits of bandwidth coming into the venue and six power generating stations ensured that power failure was not a problem.”

There was also a video presented during the inauguration of the Windows 8 AppFest which had Steven Sinofsky, President of Windows and Windows Live , Microsoft wishing the developers participating in AppFest.
