Scroll through Worksheet without changing Active Cell in Excel 2013

When you use the up arrow or the down arrow key within the excel sheet , the active cell would also change . There are times when you don’t want the active cell to change when using the keyboard to navigate.

How to Scroll through the Worksheet in Microsoft Excel 2013 without changing the active cell ?

In this case , use the Scroll Lock key .

Turn on the Scroll lock key in the keyboard and perform the navigation using the navigation keys within the worksheet.

How to return to the original active cell ?

Use the shortcut key Ctrl + backspace to navigate to the original active cell.
