Microsoft invites developers to the Windows 8 App Fest @ Bangalore

Microsoft’s Windows 8 App Fest is scheduled to be held on September 21 and 22, 2012 at KTPO, Bangalore and the registrations are now open for the developers/students/professionals to participate in Windows 8 App Fest, one of the largest App Fest for Windows 8.

The Coding Olympics for Windows 8 App Fest will be for 18 hours an provides the developers the nonstop software jam with the support for design , build , test and submit Windows 8 Apps with the help of Windows 8 techies ( Mentors / Engineers / Community members ) .

All that is required to participate is the vision/idea for developing the perfect Windows 8 App, a laptop preconfigured with Windows 8 and Visual Studio 2012 and Windows 8 SDK 🙂

The developers at the Windows 8 App Fest will have the opportunity to submit Apps in various categories like food, finance productivity, books, social, photo, music and video and shopping. Note that there will also be various proctors or onsite staff to a assist the participants to develop Windows 8 App in preparing their apps for submission to the Windows Store.

So, it’s an excellent opportunity to get exposure on the Windows 8 App development and submit them by participating in the Windows 8 App Fest.
